Your PDF print file contains form fields.
NOT producible with print approval!
Attention: Entries in these fields are automatically deleted and not printed. Please remove all the form fields from your artwork file and convert them to regular text. Please place images directly in the file, not in form fields.
Tip: If you want to print out the form with the fields filled in, a simple and easy solution would be to save the PDF file as a high resolution tiff or jpg file. This means that all content is retained and printed by us.
The available data is password protected.

Unfortunately, we cannot process the artwork files that you sent us. Please remove the password protection from your artwork files and send us the files again.
Make sure that all document restrictions are set to "Allowed", otherwise we cannot process the file.
Your data contains wrong overprint settings.
NOT producible with print approval!
Explanation: Colours incorrectly defined as overprint are a common error in documents, as the resulting mix of foreground and background colours often does not appear on screen or on many colour printers and proofing devices. This can lead to unpleasant surprises at the time of printing.
Correction note: There must be no other colour below the spot colour.

Our practical print templates help you create your artwork files.
Unfortunately, our artwork is still in your print file and would then be visible in the finished print product.
Please remove anything from the layout that you do not want to appear on the final print.
Your data contains incorrect overprint settings (special colour).
NOT producible with print approval!
Your finishing is not set to overprint but to omit. This way, the design is hidden under the finishing.
Please send the complete artwork files, including any corrections, for further processing of your job.
Your PDF contains layers.
Producible with print approval!
Layers act like transparent films placed over each other on which you can work. If you do not want to lose any image data, it is best to create a new layer and continue working on it. During print, however, serious damage can occur when using layers.
Correction note: Please check your artwork for layers and reduce them to one background layer.
We can also print with the PDF you send us. However, for this we need an explicit approval from you to print the available artwork.
The resolution of the file sent is too low – at least 250 dpi.
Producible with print approval!
Explanation: If the resolution is too low, your printed product may appear blurred or fuzzy (pixelated). Whether a lower resolution meets your quality requirements is always a subjective assessment. Therefore, we cannot give any recommendation in this regard.
Important: For optimum print quality, all documents, images and fonts must be supplied at a resolution of at least 250 dpi.
Correction note: To ensure that your document has the correct dimensions with the appropriate resolution, you should make sure that the correct dimensions have been setup in the software you are using. If your artwork is 250 dpi, check the mm dimension of your artwork.
Create your graphics and images with the right size and resolution from the beginning. Increasing the resolution or scaling (enlarging) at a later stage leads to a deterioration in quality.
Depending on the software, you can enter the resolution and mm dimension directly. If only pixel dimensions can be entered or viewed, please note that these must be converted accordingly.
The formula for converting your dimensions is: Size in mm x (250 dpi / 25.4) = Dimension in pixels.
It is possible to print at a lower resolution or with serious display problems, but this must be explicitly approved by you, as the optimum print quality will not be achieved.

Bleed missing
Producible with print approval!
To enable borderless printing, we require a bleed in your artwork files. This is a coloured area around the printed image where the cutting takes place. Without bleed, white lines may appear in the edge area during cutting, so-called flashes.
The bleed should always be filled with the background area or background of the print image.
Please also note the required safety margin in the print image to avoid important design elements or texts from being cut.
Bleed is too small
Producible with print approval!
Explanation: The bleed is required in offset printing to enable borderless printing. If the bleed is too small, white lines may appear in the edge area (flash) when cutting your printed matter, as the machine may have cutting tolerances.
Tip: The bleed should always be filled with the background area or background of the print image.
We also recommend that you leave a minimum of 3mm, preferably 5mm, bleed from the trim edge for fonts and design elements to ensure a balanced visual effect (including bleed, 5 to 7mm from the print edge).
